Ennis in County Clare hosted the 5th Annual Irish Christmas Tree Throwing Championships. Rob and Beefy went head to head and took on the best that Ireland had to offer to see if either one of them could become the Champion of Ireland.

A sport close to both Beefy and Rob’s hearts, 2016’s first sport is Rugby Union. A trip to Belfast to Kingspan Stadium, or Ravenhill as it used to be known before the corporate dollar changed the way we refer to our beloved sporting theatres. Ulster played host to rival Irish province Munster in this sold out affair.

Instead of cricket at the MCG, Beefy & Rob headed to Sydney harbour for the start of one of the most prestigious off-shore yacht races in the world – The Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.

The biggest event in World Darts is the World Championship at Alexandra Palace (or Ally Pally). Every session of the 2 weeks of the Championship is sold out and the crowd drink in the festive spirit – possibly a little too much at times!

Rob & Beefy we’re guests at the PAX Australia Convention. At the Convention there was an IFPA World Ranking Tournament. We were there to witness the action first hand. Two brand new Game of Thrones machines were imported specially for the Tournament.

Rob and Beefy headed up to the border of New South Wales and Victoria to the spiritual home of Australian Speedway for a Sidecar meeting. It is the last event of 2015 and a warm up for the Australian Championships coming up soon.

The last race of the Cyclocross season before Christmas is always held in Belgium. The Belgians absolutely love it, hence why over 20,000 spectators turned out to see the competitors ride, carry and push their bikes over the various terrains. This World Cup event was held in Namur within the grounds of the ancient citadel.
